ABOUT THE EVENT

  • The Flagler Tiger Bay Club will host its 2026 City Council and County Commission Candidate Forum on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the Palm Coast Community Center, bringing together candidates seeking local office for an evening of public discussion and voter engagement.

  • The nonpartisan forum will feature qualified candidates for the Flagler County Board of County Commissioners Districts 2 and 4, as well as Palm Coast City Council Districts 2, 3, and 4. The event will begin with a Candidate Meet and Greet from 5:00 p.m. to 5:50 p.m., followed by the Candidate Forum at 6:00 p.m.
  • Designed as a high-information community event, the forum will provide voters and stakeholders an opportunity to hear directly from candidates on issues impacting Flagler County and the City of Palm Coast. Questions will be developed from community interviews, public submissions, Tiger Bay Club membership input, and the event panelists. Candidates will respond to moderated questions, with opportunities for follow-up discussion and rebuttal when referenced by another candidate.
  • The forum will be moderated under the principles of civility, respect, and constructive dialogue. A diverse interview panel representing business, education, faith, and community leadership will participate in the discussion.
  • The event will be livestreamed on the Flagler Tiger Bay Club Facebook page, Flagler News Weekly, FlaglerLive, Palm Coast Observer, and Ask Flagler, and simulcast live on Flagler Broadcasting’s WNZF 94.9 FM News Radio, as well as streamed live on Flagler Broadcasting’s YouTube and Facebook channels.
  • NOTE: The forum is intended to educate voters while maintaining a respectful and issue-focused environment ahead of the 2026 election season. This event is open to the public. Registration is not required. Food/Beverages will be available for purchase from World Plate Catering, on site.
